Hi, I’m Leaf — a Whanganui-based dreadlock artist. I work from a peaceful rural studio just five minutes out of town, specializing in the creation, maintenance, and installation of dreadlocks.

I trained under internationally recognised loctician Ann-Marie Christell of Seienstyle and am a certified Seienstyle affiliate. My approach is calm, professional, and tailored to you. Whether you’re starting your dreadlock journey, adding rows, or maintaining established locs, I focus on well-formed locs that mature beautifully over time.

Let's get your dreads tidied up. I use the crochet method for all dread care. No bands, interlocking, or nasty products. $60/hr

Dreadlock creation

I like to give people a quote for new dreadlocks before they arrive. Please get in touch with a photo of your existing hair and describe exactly what you want so we can work out a price for your dream dreads. 

Dreadlock Extensions

Extend your existing dreads, or create a beautiful new, long set. I prefer to use 100% human hair for the absolute best possible result. But always happy to tailor to your ideas.

Where do I start... what an awesome experience. Leaf has created the most beautiful set of dreads for me and right from the beginning went out of her way to ensure the whole process of this creation was seamless. Communication around hair extension colouring was thorough. My questions were answered quickly and clearly. Her work space was soothing and I was able to easily relax while she created her magic.
